God of War II strategy guide

XI.Pegasus, Part2
More of the same. Keep attacking the griffons, until you reach the last one - a soldier on a raven. To beat him, you'll need to nail a tricky Quicktime sequence, and afterwards you'll find yourself plummeting towards the ground fast. Wait for it, and press X when prompted to pull yourself onto the cliffside.

XII. The Temple of Lahkesis
Climb up to the top (it takes a while!). Once you reach the first ledge, head left and open the chests with the Phoenix feather and the red orbs. Now climb up again where you'll be confronted by some soldiers. Ascend to the next level and you'll arrive in an open area with corpses hanging from the ceiling. A pack of dogs will attack you, and there are plenty of them, so use wide attacks to hit more than one hound at once.

Puzzle focus
Now run to the far side of the room and knock down the dead body from the chain. Pick it up and carry it back to the left, where you'll find a lift. Put the body down, pull the lever and travel down. Now, pick up the body and put it on the pressure plate to keep the first gate open.

XIII. The Temple of Lahkesis, Part2
Walk forwards and pull back the lever as far as it will go, then sprint through the two gates into the next room. Approach the drawbridge in this area and kick it down. Turn around and head right along the side of the cliff to grab the Gorgon's eye. Now head left and jump off the broken ledge when you're close to the end.

Fall into the next room and you'll encounter your first Cerberus boss. Hammer him with combos, and if you get low on health, use your Rage. Once he's dead, destroy the statues in the room and you'll get a block to move. Grab it and use it as a leg-up to climb into the next area where you'll be given a chance to save.

Now, head left and drop down underneath the drawbridge. There are dogs and archers in this area, so kill them and climb onto the wall. Travel across the underside of the area and up the left hand side. Once you're up, you'll be attacked by more men, so be ready for a fight. Once they're dead, move forwards and pull the lever to activate the lift. You're now in a circular arena and there are Sirens in the room. Soften them up and use Circle to finish them off until their screams break the wall, providing you with an exit.
