Get Uncharted 3 early by attending AMC Theaters event
Please turn off your cell phones now
Want to get your hands on an early copy of Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception without needing to climb into Naughty Dog’s headquarters and steal one from their offices? Well, as long you’ll be in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Washington D.C., New York City, or Dallas on October 18-20, you’re in luck.
AMC Theatres has announced a special Uncharted 3 event, in which gamers will have a chance to see the game on the big screen in 3D, get an inside look from the development team at Naughty Dog, take part in a multiplayer tournament, and enter for chances to win PlayStation and Sony prize giveaways. It’s available for only $25, but there’s another option, too, and it’s one that’s going to be even more appealing for fans of Naughty Dog’s blockbuster franchise.
For $60 you can get the Uncharted 3 Premium Pass, which comes with the above benefits as well as a pre-release copy of Uncharted 3. The game isn’t out until November for most, but if you get the Premium Pass your copy ships on 10/25 – a week before it comes out in North America. You don’t get it when you attend the event, sadly, but you’ll still be playing Uncharted 3 several days before the rest of your friends line up for midnight releases like a bunch of suckers.
You can find more information on AMC’s official website, which has a list of the dates and locations. Tickets are in limited supply and we have a feeling they’re going to go fast. Once people realize that they’re paying the same amount of money and getting the game a week early they’re likely to pounce. We know we are.
