The Marvel Cinematic Universe may get a shake-up next month when Captain America: Civil War comes to theaters, but come November 4, Marvel fans will be treated to something decidedly more ... Strange. Now that principal photography has wrapped on Doctor Strange, Disney and Marvel have shared a new picture of star Benedict Cumberbatch as the mystical hero.
If you find yourself rooting for the bad guys in these movies, don't forget that we also got a few good looks at Mads Mikkelsen's character - whoever he may be - and he looks positively wicked. As for the good doctor, the MCU version of the Sorcerer Supreme is looking mighty fine, if I do say so myself.
And I do. Quite emphatically.
Directed by Scott Derickson and starring Benedict Cumberbatch, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Tilda Swinton, Rachel McAdams, Michael Stuhlbarg and Mads Mikkelsen, Doctor Strange is released in UK cinemas on October 28, 2016 before opening in US theatres on November 4, 2016.
