Now more than two years since the launch of Sony's next-gen console, we're finally starting to see legitimately great PS5 deals across the web. If you've been holding off on making the upgrade then today's deal from Currys could be the one to convince you otherwise.

Currys is offering three new PS5 games with a PS5 disc console for £499. That's an extraordinarily good deal considering most PS5 bundles throw in just one game for that same price, or sometimes even none (depending on the retailer and inflation). The three games included are Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, Saints Row, and Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Reunion. As the standard price of a PS5 is £479.99, since Sony decided to raise the cost from £449.99 in August 2021, this means you are taking home these three titles for £20 or £6.66 each.

Let's break this cost down further. With Lego Star Wars and Crisis Core having a suggested RRP of £49.99 and Saints Row going for £59.99, this equals a saving of £140.96 (28%). Naturally, these games can be found cheaper than that online, often going for half that price but it's still a big saving, regardless. Without a doubt, It's one of the best PS5 bundles on the market right now and one of the best PS5 deals of 2023 so far.

Save £141 - One of the best PS5 bundles deals of 2023. Take home three PS5 games with a new PS5 disc console, equal to a saving of over £140 when compared to their typical RRP. It's the equivalent of buying each game for £6.66 apiece.

What about the games? Are they worth playing? Is this actually a decent deal? Well, during our Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga review, we stated: "It’s funny, playable, technically stupendous, massive and immensely authentic, it’s just a shame it feels so shallow and childish at times". The game received a highly respectable 82 score on Metacritic, as a result.

When it came to our Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Reunion review, we found the action RPG remaster to be "a fascinating look into the Square Enix of the past, meshed with Final Fantasy 7's current trajectory in the Remake saga". It earned a moderate 77 score on Metacritic with the game filling in some of the blanks between Final Fantasy 7 Remake and its upcoming sequel, Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth.

Finally, critics were less kind to Saints Row – including our own Saints Row review that called it "a new era that's still somewhat stuck in the past" – with the rebooted action adventure sitting at a 61 score on Metacritic. If none of these games take your fancy, there is a God of War Ragnarok PS5 bundle going for £499.99 at BT too.

Here's where to find all the latest PS5 restock updates in case you would prefer to get a stand-alone console instead. We've also rounded up the best cheap PS5 game sales as well as the best PS5 accessories, so you can start playing all the latest next-gen games with add-ons for less.
