Since its reveal at E3 2015, fans have been itching their ridiculously-sized muscles as they await more info on Gears of War 4. Game Informer has made the game its focus this month, which means a drip of new information on its way. Of that drip, here is a tasty drop: Gears of Wars 4 will run at 1080p and 30 fps in campaign, while developer The Coalition is aiming for 60 fps in multiplayer.
Studio head and longtime Gears producer Rod Fergusson revealed the performance specs during a rapid-fire interview of 105 questions answered in five and a half minutes, so there's no elaboration to be had. However, if you notice Fergusson's hand, it looks like he's waffling on the multiplayer framerate - so perhaps it's not a super sure thing at this point?
Ah well, at least we know 100 other things about Gears 4 now. Like how Ice-T is apparently "cool," and Fergusson and his team are aiming to release the game in fall of this year.
