Gaming's most impressive natural disasters
Because why should clouds of molten ash grab all the headlines?
1080° Avalanche's... eh, avalanches
Before you try and get smart and claim avalanches aren't a real natural disaster, stop. They soooo are. We checked Wiki, which listed blizzards as an acceptable natural catastrophe. And a blizzard's most lethal weapon is surely a sudden, homicidal surge of ice. Speaking of avalanches, are we the only ones who want to watch that awesome bit in Deep Blue Sea again?
Deadliest Catch: Alaskan Storm's (surprise, surprise) big-ass storms
The sea really is the harshest of mistresses. If its underwater residents aren't trying to bite you in half or giving you a sting so painful you have to get someone to piss on your leg, it's swallowing our hard-working fishing boats. And, by extension, the fisherman on them. Oh cruel fate! If potential men-who-want-to-make-a-living-from-killing-fish watched shit George Clooney film The Perfect Storm, none of this would happen. Oh, and the waves in the above game are also pretty sweet.
Majora's Mask's murderous moon
Admittedly, the moon's never crashed into Earth, so it's not yet listed as a natural disaster. Still, we're sure the man up their is plotting our demise as we type these very words, meaning it's only a matter of time until half our planet is smashed by that massive, cheese-intensive rock. So in preparation for said disastrous event, wet your undercrackers by watching Zelda's evil moon destroy every living thing in its wake. Including Tingle. Yes!
