Everything in the Helldivers 2 Freedom's Flame Warbond battle pass
Is the Freedom's Flame Warbond in HD2 worth it? Here's what you're getting
The Helldivers 2 Freedom's Flame Warbond battle pass is here adding a fiery range of weapons, armor and gear. It features a new incendiary shotgun and two flamethrower options, as well as some helpfully flame retardant armor and other goodies. So let's take a look at what's cooking (hopefully not you).
All Helldivers 2 Freedom's Flame Warbond rewards
The Freedom's Flame Warbond for Helldivers 2 has 22 rewards across the board with 300 Super Credits to be earned as well. That's all split across three pages of fire-based equipment and items, including fire-damage weapons, flame-resistant armor, heat-themed boosters and more. It also includes new vehicle skins, something that started in the Helldivers 2 Viper Commandos warbond before this one.
This is everything in the Freedom's Flame Warbond battle pass.
- Weapons
- SG-451 Cookout, 20 medals: (Shotgun Primary Weapon): A pump action shotgun that fires a spray of incendiary pellets.
- Flam-66 Torcher, 40 medals: (Flamethrower Primary Weapon): A smaller version of the Helldivers 2 Flamethrower Stratagem that can be equipped as a standard weapon. Almost certainly unsafe for everybody involved.
- P-72 Crisper, 45 medals: (Flamethrower Secondary Weapon): A handheld flamethrower sidearm that works over short distances.
- Armor
- I-09 Heatseeker, 18 medals: Light armor with red plating over a black jumpsuit. Grants 75% damage resistance to fire. (Matching Helmet 12 medals.)
- I-102 Draconaught, 45 medals: Medium armor sporting orange and black plates over a white jumpsuit. Grants 75% damage resistance to fire.
- Boosters
- Firebomb Hellpods, 60 medals: An aggressive new option that causes Hellpods to ignite the area they land in, causing hazardous terrain for enemies (and presumably allies).
- Player Banners and Capes:
- Purifying Eclipse, 8 medals: A cape and banner in black and red colours with a Skull decal. (Banner 2 medals.)
- The Breach, 20 medals: A cape and banner with orange markings in triangular patterns. (Banner 5 medals')
- Vehicle Skins/Patterns
- Orange skins for the Hellpod (10 medals), Pelican Shuttle (25 medals) and Exosuit (40 medals) are included.
- New Emotes and Victory Poses
- Big Stretch, 8 medals: The player does a wide, yawning stretch with both arms.
- Deep Reflection, 15 medals: The player strokes the chin of their helmet thoughtfully.
- Thoracic Collusion Exultation Maneuver, 35 medals: A two-player co-op emote that's a big, jumping chestbump.
- Player Titles
- "Fire Safety Officer", 20 medals
- 300 Helldivers 2 Super Credits, Three chips in 7, 12 and 32 medal increments
The star of the show here is probably the SG-451 Cookout shotgun. It's a pump action with a decent rate of fire and damage that can wreak havoc in a pack of Terminids. It's more measured firing rate balances accuracy and sustained fire well and has a decent range.
After that the both the flamethrowers are good although the Flam-66 Torcher is a little short on range. The P-72 Crisper is a good secondary if you want a flamethrower option but can't give up you ballistic primary. Both the armors are also good if there's a lot of fire about but many not essential if you're not an incendiary heavy player.
