Gameplay
FC 25 tips
If you're looking for general help across the board, our FC 25 tips guide should be your first port of call. It introduces you to Rush mode and bronze pack method, and contains two vital mini catalogues: the FC 25 best young players list, and FC 25 fastest players list.
FC 25 Player Roles
Building on the big innovation of FC 24 PlayStyles, EA introduces a strategic feature called FC 25 Player Roles this time around. They dictate how every individual team member moves both on and off the ball – and you can see them all by clicking that link.
FC 25 ratings
Spanish man-mountain Rodri endured a disastrous start to the real season by picking up a terrible knee injury, but the FC 25 ratings list brought a crumb of consolation. As you can see by hitting that link, he joins Kylian Mbappe, Erling Haaland and Aitani Bonmati on a huge new OVR of 91.
FC 25 skill moves
It wouldn't be a fresh FC entry without new flicks and spins to bamboozle defences, and this year we get four: Big Feint, Stop and Go, Step Over Ball and Toe Drag Stepover. Find out how to do those, plus all the old favorites, in GR's FC 25 skill moves guide.
FC 25 celebrations
Just as it does with skill moves, EA loves to sprinkle in fresh ways to toast your latest 25-yard humdinger – or last-minute tap-in. There are more than a dozen this year, including the return of the controversial cup of tea. View them all in our FC 25 celebrations guide.
FC 25 stadiums
In a welcome surprise, we get three new EFL Championship grounds to enjoy, belonging to Bristol City, Coventry City, and Blackburn Rovers. Other new additions include Fenerbahce, Galatasaray and Feyenoord. See the full ten on our FC 25 stadiums list.
Ultimate Team
FC 25 meta
Everyone on social media pretends to hate the FC 25 meta – then goes and indulges in it anyway. Given the effectiveness of a 4-2-3-1 setup, and lightning speed of Micky Van de Ven, it's not hard to see why. Click that link to see the most OP players, tactics and formations in this year's game.
FC 25 Season 1 ladder players
One innovation this year is being able to earn XP – or SP, as EA calls it – across all modes, to unlock rewards for FUT, career, and Pro Clubs. However, the major rewards here, such as Adama Traore and a loan Gareth Bale card, are for use in Ultimate Team. You can see them all on the FC 25 Season 1 ladder players list.
FC 25 RTTK tracker
RTTK stands for Road To The Knockouts, and sees players such as Jude Bellingham and Ollie Watkins earn upgrades depending on how their respective clubs perform in European competition. Harry Kane and Virgil Van Dijk also get new cards. Keep up with their ratings on the FC 25 RTTK tracker.
FC 25 FC Pro Live tracker
For the second year running, Ultimate Team cleverly incorporates a set of dynamic cards linked to its annual Pro Open esports tournament. Each time a contender progresses, their assigned real life player scores an in-game upgrade. See all the ratings, along with the pro matched to each card, on our FC 25 FC Pro Live tracker.
FC 25 Thunderstruck tracker
Continuing a Black Friday tradition, EA launched the FC 25 Thunderstruck tracker, mixing in past greats such as Ruud Gullit with modern favourites like Kylian Mbappe. Its dynamic cards could score upgrades based on the five domestic results immediately following the campaign's start date. Hit that link for all the latest ratings.
FC 25 Total Rush tracker
Brand new promos are always welcome, and the Rush mode enabled EA to deliver one such campaign in early October. The FC 25 Total Rush tracker features a host of OP cards. While they aren't upgradable, the fact that some are earned by playing five-a-side to earn XP is a welcome innovation.
FC 25 Globetrotters
The modern game is legendary for its cosmopolitan reach, with the best players in the game often spending their careers in multiple countries. FC 25 Globetrotters celebrates that freedom. Every player in the promo, such as Cristiano Ronaldo and Mo Salah, earns a chemistry boost for having played in at least three different nations.
FC 25 Trailblazers
In a neat idea, FC 25 Trailblazers saw those who'd enjoyed fast starts to the real football season rewarded with new cards. The list was a formidable one, too, with Cole Palmer, Erling Haaland, Vinicius Jr and Aitana Bonmati all given hot fresh items. This is definitely one we'd like to see back next season.
FC 25 Centurions
100 appearances or 100 goals: FC 25 Centurions did what said on the tin, celebrating those who've racked up one of those landmarks during their career. As a result it mixed in both Icons and contemporary players, with David Beckham, Franck Ribery and Rodri among the most attractive temptations.
FC 25 Ultimate Succession
Not every new idea in the series slaps, and this one met with apathy. FC 25 Ultimate Succession mixed Icons, Heroes and current day players in a slapdash manner, tenuously linking Ronaldinho, Lionel Messi and Lamine Yamal. Hmmm. It did at least provide two new Player Roles.
FC 25 chemistry styles
Player Roles and PlayStyles are important, but Ultimate Team also enables you to customise ratings to your own liking. How? Using FC 25 chemistry styles. The likes of Hawk, Anchor and Hunter tweak specific attributes to make key individual players even more deadly.
FC 25 best kits
Knowing the most fashionable Ultimate Team strips functions on two levels. It enables you to look great on the pitch – naturally – and can also be a clever way of bringing in extra FUT coins, by flipping popular cards onto the transfer market. Ogle the prettiest in our FC 25 best kits guide.
Career Mode
FC 25 career mode
It's all change for the mode that dominated FIFA before Ultimate Team came along. New this year are women's teams, the ability to improve your wonderkids using Rush tournaments, a sim gameplay option, and plenty more. Master the ways of the dugout with GR's FC 25 career mode guide.

I'm GamesRadar's sports editor, and obsessed with NFL, WWE, MLB, AEW, and occasionally things that don't have a three-letter acronym – such as Chvrches, Bill Bryson, and Streets Of Rage 4. (All the Streets Of Rage games, actually.) Even after three decades I still have a soft spot for Euro Boss on the Amstrad CPC 464+.
