Sandbox strategy RPG Huaxia: Warring States just got a new trailer, showing off a new world, improved combat, and a deeper story.
After more than 1000 years of peaceful co-existence, the royal family is in decline, and it's up to you to decide how you're going to shape your fortune in this changing world. Combining RPG and map strategy, Huaxia: Warring States lets you shape your background, skills, and talents as you carve a space for yourself, using brain, brawn, or a combination of the two to claim any foothold you choose. Will you be a lone, wandering soldier or an emperor ruling over thousands? Only you can decide.
The game's latest trailer, unveiled at the Future Games Show at Gamescom Presented by Sid Meier’s Civilization® VII, offers a look at a new overworld, complete with towering mountains, rapidly-flowing rivers, and threatening enemy fortresses. The action also zooms in to offer a peek at a hugely detailed set of character development tools, chaotic battles where both sword and sorcery can help decide the outcome of a fight, and even a brief look at Huaxia: Warring States' story.
There's no final release date in sight just yet, but if Huaxia: Warring States captures your eye, you can take an even closer look thanks to the game's demo, which is currently available to download and play on Steam.
