Star Wars Outlaws planets and worlds all have something unique to offer as you explore. There are five locations in total, each with some surrounding Space to fly around in and explore, as well as the surface. Once you reach a certain point in the story you'll be able to travel between four of them freely, freeroaming to find various resources, challenges and missions. My guide will lay out all the planets in Star Wars Outlaws you can visit, and what you can expect to find.
Warning: The following guide contains minor spoilers for Star Wars Outlaws.
All Star Wars Outlaws planets and locations
There are five planets in Star Wars Outlaws - four are sandbox maps you can explore freely, while one is more story focused. We'll go into more detail below but here's summary of all the planets you can find:
- Cantonica. Kay Vess' homeworld and location of the city of Canto Bight, seen in The Last Jedi.
- Toshara Moon. A Savannah-like moon, and home of the Pyke Syndicate.
- Tatooine. The infamously lawless desert world where Anakin Skywalker was born and Luke grew up, here you'll find Mos Eisley and Jabba the Hutt.
- Akiva. A jungle world with numerous droid factories.
- Kijimi. A frozen city seen in The Rise of Skywalker, run by the insectile Ashiga Clan crime family.
Star Wars Outlaws Cantonica and Canto Bight
Want to know how long Star Wars Outlaws is? Here's a breakdown of completion length.
Cantonica is Kay Vess' homeworld, but you won't spend much time here. Unlike other planets it's somewhere you'll only go during specific missions, such as the opening. It's not a freely explorable sandbox, so if you're not sent there for plot reasons, you won't be able to visit it.
Cantonica is the location of Canto Bight - the gambling city where Finn and Rose go exploring for a codebreaker in The Last Jedi - as well as the newly formed Zerek Besh criminal faction.
Star Wars Outlaws Toshara
Toshara is a new moon location in Star Wars lore devised specifically for Star Wars Outlaws. A world of savannah-like planes and rocky plateaus, Toshara is technically the home of the Pyke Syndicate, but there's a lot conflict between them and the rival Crimson Dawn here. It's also the first world you'll visit - you'll spend a while here repairing your ship but eventually, once that's done, it'll be time to decide which planet you should go to first in Star Wars Outlaws.
Star Wars Outlaws Tatooine
Tatooine is a classic Star Wars location appearing in Outlaws - birthworld of Anakin/Vader and where Luke Skywalker grew up. It's a freely explorable sandbox and a ruthless desert world where the sands are broken up by bandit camps and settlements like Mos Eisley that are barely any better. The ruling power on Tatooine is Jabba the Hutt, found in his palace on the north side of the map, and the Hutts are one of the main Star Wars Outlaws factions, so it might be worth getting on the slug's good side.
Star Wars Outlaws Akiva
Akiva is a damp jungle planet criss-crossed by rivers and lakes, that serves as home to a lot of Empire droid factories. You'll find a lot of technicians, mechanics and scavengers here, with markets full of spare parts. Navigating the rainforest can be difficult initially, until find one of the Star Wars Outlaws Experts and Abilities that allow you to drive your Speeder over water.
Star Wars Outlaws Kijimi
Kijimi is an icy town seen in The Rise of Skywalker and one of the smaller sandboxes. It's mainly a central town are to explore but the orbit is quite busy, with a nebula that conceals criminal activity, and the town is home to one of Outlaws' stranger factions: the Ashiga Clan, an insectile hive ran by an austere queen.
