The Indiana Jones House of God puzzle box can be found in the Vatican in The Great Circle. It has a simple solution but because moving the big obvious lever on the front prevents you from seeing what it's doing, you can miss what's going on and make things harder than they need to be.

You'll find the House of God puzzle via the Borgia Courtyard you enter at the start of the Vatican area - if you climb the scaffolding behind the giant red Mussolini poster you'll be able to reach it through a widow. Although later you'll unlock a few different route to get there as you explore and unlock different areas. If you want the House of God puzzle solution for Indiana Jones then here's what you need to do when you find it.

You'll find the House of God puzzle box at this map location, found by climbing up the scaffolding behind the big Mussolini poster in the area you enter when you first leave Father Antonio. There's a note talking about cleaning the secret compartments inside, and Indy will comment that it's 'some sort of puzzle box'. These are your first clues it's a puzzle.

The solution to the House of God puzzle box in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is this:

  1. Push the big leaver on the front to the right, opening a panel on the left hand side.
  2. Inside the opened panel you'll find a Relief Medallion you can take.
  3. Push the lever to the left, opening a door on the right hand side where you can place the Medallion. This will open up another door, back on the left, to reveal a Golden Chalice you can take.
  4. Place this Golden Chalice in the square in front of the model building to open a panel containing a Vatican Relics Journal to complete the puzzle.

It's a surprisingly simple puzzle to solve but that almost makes it easier to get wrong if you're expecting something more complicated. Plus, if you look the wrong way it can be easy to miss that you've done anything at all. I say that as someone who moved the lever right, looked right and assumed I'd got it wrong because there was nothing there.

Solving the House of God gets you a Vatican Relics map guide you'll then find under your exploration books, and which will help you find the Vatican relic collectibles in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle.
