The Indiana Jones and the Great Circle PS5 launch is coming up with an official release date confirmed for April. Even though developer Machine Games is owned by Xbox, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle was never going to be a console exclusive forever, and now there's good news for Indy fans on Sony's consoles. Here's what you need to know about the PS5 release of Indiana Jones and the Great Circle as well as what else might be heading to PlayStation.

The Indiana Jones and the Great Circle PS5 launch date is April 17, 2025, so it's not that far away. You can even pre-order the Indiana Jones and the Great Circle Collector's Edition for PS5 right now. The game itself is exactly the same as the Xbox version, with no bonuses or special additions, but it's a doozy as our Indiana Jones and the Great Circle review says. We knew about a "Spring 2025" release for Indy's latest video game adventure for some time, so it was always a timed console exclusive, even after Xbox's $7.5 billion acquisition of Bethesda in 2021, which included developer MachineGames.
While it may seem strange to find an Xbox published game arriving on other platforms, this is actually part of a wider strategy that is continuing this year. In 2024, Xbox CEO Phil Spencer announced that Sea of Thieves, Pentiment, Grounded, and Hi-Fi rush would be arriving on rival platforms, getting some of Xbox's smaller exclusives in front of a wider audience. Black Ops 6 unsurprisingly still launched on PS5, despite Microsoft's acquisition of Activision Blizzard.
We also know that Forza Horizon 5 will be coming to PS5 on April 29, 2025, so if you're up for some racing after a globetrotting adventure, then you can look forward that too. It's still unclear if other upcoming Xbox Series X games like Doom: The Dark Ages, Fable 4, and Perfect Dark will also make the jump.
