There'll be plenty of peaks in Game Of Thrones ' fourth season
Game Of Thrones is such a critical and ratings smash that you might expect showrunners David Benioff and DB Weiss to stick with their winning formula. However, according to the cast, season four is going to be anything but business as usual.
“It’s going to be different this season style-wise,” explains Liam Cunningham (Ser Davos Seaworth). “Instead of a climactic end, there’s going to be a number of very big events that are going to happen as the season rolls out. So there will be various points throughout the season where things are going to get quite monumental.”
Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (Jaime Lannister) adds: “The structure of this season is somewhat different from previous seasons. Whereas before you’ve had all these storylines and one of them comes to a peak – a climax – you’ve now got more of those happening throughout the season.”
Meanwhile, Rory McCann (Sandor Clegane AKA The Hound) says: “Those guys have been wracking their brains every year about every single thing, just trying each season to make it a bit bigger, better and madder than before and that’s certainly the order of the day this year.”
