Game: Dance Dance Revolution Supernova

Song: L.E.F. (Loud Electronic Ferocious)

Composer: Ferry Corsten

Screw it, we're doing DDR for GMOTD today. The happy hardcore / hyper eurobeat /psy-trance/electroshock movement that is Dance Dance Revolution isn't for everyone, but for those of us who can appreciate an aggressive techno beat, the DDR catalog is a cornucopia of aural delight. This track comes from Ferry Corsten's album L.E.F., which released around the same time (technically shortly after) the first DDR Supernova machines started hitting arcades. While it's not an original DDR song, it fits in perfectly with the DDR vibe.

Not only is itunapologetically, in-your-face techno trance, but just the title itself (and the only lyrics in the song), "Loud, Electronic, Ferocious" aretruly a celebration of the DDR mentality, if you will. The word "lef" also means "guts" (as in bravery)in Dutch, the language of Corsten's native land, so it has a doublyfierce meaning. If this doesn't get you pumped up to step on some arrows really fast, you're alost cause.
