Fullmetal Alchemist confirmed for DS
Duel Sympathy heads to British shores at last
Tuesday 19 June 2007
Fullmetal Alchemist: Duel Sympathy has finally been announced for UK launch on Nintendo DS, bringing side-scrolling Elric action with touch-screen combat to our shores. Of course, it isn't the first DS side-scroller to offer such a fighting mechanic, as Spider-Man: Battle for New York had a similar use of the touch screen in its combat. But the game's looking like a well-realised interpretation of the best-selling anime so fans at least should have good cause to be excited.

The title is to feature six playable characters from the series, namely Edward and Alphonse Elric, Roy Mustang, Alex Luis Armstrong, Izumi and Scar. Interestingly, you'll be able to acquire the special moves of other characters as you play, which should keep things interesting.
We'll bring you more on Fullmetal Alchemist: Duel Sympathy soon, as it heads towards its July release. In the mean-time, check out the new screenshere.
