Full trailer for The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2

The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2 , to give it its full, rather wordy title, opens later this year, bringing one of the most remarkable pop-culture phenomenons of recent years to a close.

Whatever your opinion on the quality of the movies, they've been impossible to ignore. After a teaser was launched a while back, the full trailer for the franchise's final instalment has been unveiled.

Never has a film had a more specific target audience. Over the years, the faithful hordes have been cultivated, and they’ll likely flock to this in spades. This isn’t going to convert any newbies to the Twilight cause - even if it does look to have upped the action - but, honestly, it doesn’t really need to.

So, for all those who are still interested, what do we glean here? Well, it seems that the birth of Renesmee, daughter of Edward (Robert Pattinson) and Bella (Kristen Stewart), is causing quite a fuss in the vampire community.

The Volturi seem particularly miffed, and as a result it looks like Michael Sheen’ll have a meatier role in this one.

A newly-vampiric Bella might finally get the chance to prove she has a backbone, and Jacob seems to have found a fetching sweater that blends nicely with his skin tone, so he can appear kinda shirtless, even when he’s not.
