Warners Set To Make Big Announcement About DC Superheroes
Warner Bros has told journalists that DC superheroes will play a big part in the studio’s future plans, partly as a way of filling a Harry Potter-sized hole in its schedules. The last Potter film is coming out next July, and according to The Hollywood Reporter , Warner CEO Barry Meyer admitted that until now Warners had been looking after DC in a “custodial way,” but it’s now time to get “much more entrepreneurial.” There will be an organisational announcement next week, then in about a month Warner Bros will unveil a spread sheet detailing how the various superheroes will be reintroduced to consumers, and on more than just feature film platforms. Dare we cross our fingers for a Bouncing Boy movie?
Olmos Writing a Battlestar Sequel Graphic Novel
Edward James Olmos, aka William Adama, has revealed that he’s writing a Battlestar Galactica graphic novel, reports Screen Junkies . He plans to continue the story where the series left off. “I think people would really flip out to know what Lee Adama is doing on the planet, what the chief is doing on the planet and what is the colonel doing on the planet and how is the planet treating us and how are we treating the planet? How are we getting along, the human development that we were inside of the human development that we see today. That’s pretty heavy.” Although the actor does hint that he hasn’t actually signed a deal yet…
