Forza 4 behind the scenes clip details the creation of Bernese Alps track

The development team at Turn 10 worked out a clever way to make a vacation work for them: not only does their trip to the breathtaking Bernese Alps count as a working holiday, but you're all going to look at their snapshots at considerable length – provided you want to play Forza 4, anyway. Here's a teaser of the vacation slideshow Turn 10 wishes to share with you, in the form of a what-we-did-on-our-holidays developer diary for the game.

With the frequency of trailers that try to stretch the basic message of “this is a pretty good game, yo” as far as it'll go, this clip's a nice break from the norm. How many clips try their best to explain the technical details behind how their game makes the sun look brighter than the tarmac, to say nothing of doing their best to fit an entire mountain range into a Quicktime video? It's all just a trick, of course, designed to make you say, “those are some lucky, lucky bastards and I can't wait to buy their game” – how's it working? Are you looking forward to seeing more of the game come its October launch?
