Fortnite Imperial Roadblocks are back, and they form an important part of the Star Wars crossover event currently taking place in the battle royale. Not only can you use them to source Imperial weapons to get an advantage in combat, but you'll also find the Stormtroopers and several other significant NPCs at these locations. This time around the Stormtroopers are enemies rather than allies, so you'll immediately be drawn into a fight with them – helpful if you need to eliminate a Stormtrooper and collect their E-11 Blaster Rifle for one of the Fortnite quests, and you should make sure you also search the Imperial chests in the area to get the Fortnite Bowcaster mythic weapon. Fortnite Imperial Roadblocks locations
There are a total of six Fortnite Imperial Roadblocks that I've discovered so far, and their locations are marked on the map above. They're not actually much to look at when you get there, comprising of a tent, a few concrete barricades, and some piles of crates with a couple of Stormtroopers patrolling them. Unlike their previous appearance in the battle royale when they were friendly, these NPCs now attack on sight when you approach their location, so be ready for a fight when you arrive at one of these checkpoints.
Be aware that the Imperial Roadblock on the island to the far north will always spawn Fortnite Darth Vader, so prepare yourself for a tough fight if you head there. Also, one of the other five Imperial Roadblocks will have blue smoke rising from it to indicate that Fortnite Chewbacca is being held hostage there, providing an NPC to assist you if you liberate them.
How to eliminate a Stormtrooper and collect their E-11 Blaster Rifle in Fortnite
To eliminate a Stormtrooper and collect their E-11 Blaster Rifle, you just need to head to one of the Fortnite Imperial Roadblocks locations highlighted above then take out the NPCs guarding that area. Each Stormtrooper will drop an E-11 Blaster Rifle when eliminated, then all you need to do is run over and pick it up to complete this quest. Make sure you check the area and search any Imperial chests, so you can get your hands on a powerful Bowcaster as well.
