How to complete Fortnite Quests in Chapter 2 Remix
We've got the lowdown on beating all of the Fortnite Quests
The Fortnite quests have been pared back down to the basics once again, as we embark on a short but sweet Remix adventure before moving on to the next chapter in December. The Battle Pass: Remix only has 50 levels rather than the usual 100, but with just four weeks of activity available you'll need to work through as many challenges as possible to rack up that XP and earn your rewards. Get off to a strong start with 140K of XP in the first week, and the Golden Scythe pickaxe will be yours.
As always, there's plenty more going on outside of the battle royale as well, so make sure you check out the separate experiences of Lego Fortnite, Rocket Racing, and Fortnite Festival to see what else is available. Don't overlook these assignments, as they provide a significant amount of additional XP during Fortnite Chapter 2 Remix to speed up your progress through the Battle Pass: Remix. Although there aren't any Story quests in this shortened season, you still have the regular Daily quests, overall progress quests (Milestones), and classic Weekly quests to provide plenty of different options.
The Week 1 quests involve gaining shields or health at The Doggpound in the middle of the island, as well as hitting opponents with a Drum Gun – if you're having trouble finding this weapon then you can get one from Snoop Dogg if you defeat him. You'll also need to discover 15 Named Locations, which shouldn't be an issue if you're uncovering the new map, and if you dash while doing that then you'll easily travel 250m distance while sprinting. Finally, make sure you grab any fallen loot you see to collect weapons from ten eliminated players.
There are certain Fortnite quests that will get ticked off through natural gameplay and don't require attention, but we're here to help with the ones that need specific knowledge or actions to clear. Completing quests is a lot easier these days now we no longer rely on Fortnite characters to distribute them, so if you want to know what you need to do for that sweet XP boost, then check out the quests section of the main menu – or the pause menu – and you'll find them all clearly laid out, with the option to track your progress on a specific challenge. Keep completing quests and you'll earn massive amounts of XP across the entire Fortnite season so you can unlock fresh rewards – and who doesn't want that? Here's everything we know about the latest Fortnite quests.
Fortnite Quests - Golden Scythe
To celebrate the fact that Fortnite is saying goodbye to its various Battle Pass currencies and hello to good old fashioned XP, you can unlock the Midas-inspired Golden Scythe pickaxe by earning XP in any mode, though you only have until the end of November 10 to reach the target:
- Earn XP anywhere to unlock reward (140,000)
Fortnite Quests - Daily
Fortnite Daily quests are back to provide three fixed daily challenges to complete, which get added to as you start ticking them off so you always have three available. There's a 20K XP bonus for each of the first three Daily quests you complete in every 24 hour cycle, and there are also Reload Daily quests which can only be completed in that game mode.
Fortnite Quests - Weekly
Fortnite Weekly quests get updated every seven days, and they will stick around until the end of the season so there's no rush to clear them. These are the Fortnite quests in this category:

Fortnite Quests - Ranked
Players are rewarded for completing certain numbers of the Fortnite Ranked Quests that are presented while playing matches in that mode, but there are also additional cosmetic awards for surviving Storm Circles in ranked matches. These initially unlock in multiples of 5 Storm Circles survived up to 20, then continue in increasing multiples all the way up to 100, for a total of ten additional rewards.
