The end of the season may be on the horizon, but the Merc with a Mouth is still setting us regular assignments, and in Week 9 this means finding where to salute Fortnite Deadpool's pants. Our antihero's den has been flooding for a few weeks and is now completely underwater, so it's understandable that their pants need to be hung out to dry, but working out where is essential knowledge to beat this part of the Fortnite Deadpool challenges. You're going to need to venture past the menus and onto the island for this, so pay your respects in Fortnite by heading to one of the Fortnite Deadpool's pants locations we've listed below and standing to attention.
Before you head out to do your saluting, make sure you've visited Midas' room under the Agents menu first, to collect Deadpool's shorts from the armchair behind him and unlock this second part of the challenge.

Fortnite Deadpool's pants locations
The initial Fortnite Deadpool's pants location we found was at Sweaty Sands, in the northwest corner of the island. Once you're at the seaside resort, either glide down or climb up to the roof of Hotel 23, which is the tallest building in the named location at the east end of the street in map grid B3. On a small platform above the stairs leading to the rooftop deck, Deadpool's pants are fluttering away in the breeze.
We've since discovered there are at least six Fortnite Deadpool's pants locations available for this challenge, which can be found as follows:
- B3: Roof of Hotel 23 in Sweaty Sands
- C6: Slurp keg on the roof of the Slurpy Swamp factory
- E4: Flagpole on the roof of The Agency
- H1: Front of The Yacht
- H4: Roof of the biggest Dirty Docks blue warehouse
- G7: Peak of Mount Kay
Once you've found them, you next need to salute Deadpool's pants in Fortnite. Now, there is a Salute emote that was first available back in Chapter 1 Season 3, but as not all players will have added this action to their lockers it's unlikely that it will be required. Instead, approach Fortnite Deadpool's pants and you should see a prompt to salute them, meaning everyone can complete this challenge and collect the X-Force color option for the Deadpool outfit.
