The Fortnite Anvil Rocket Launcher is a highly explosive weapon that can deal extreme damage when used effectively, and it has recently returned from a period of downtime in the vault to wreak havoc across the battle royale once again. It is particularly effective against vehicles as its missiles will lock on to them after a short time, and there's even one of the Fortnite quests dedicated to destroying a vehicle using it. This weapon can be difficult to get, so to help out with that I've got details on where to find the Anvil Rocket Launcher in Fortnite.

The Fortnite Anvil Rocket Launcher is part of the loot pool, which means it can be found inside chests or even just lying around on the ground as general floor loot. Finding it through those routes relies entirely on luck, however there is a guaranteed source of this rocket launcher – Mecha Team Shadow, one of the Fortnite characters, whose location I've marked on the map above.

Mecha Team Shadow is found at Riviera Station, one of the train stations located southeast of Ritzy Riviera, northeast of Pleasant Plaza, and northwest of Ruined Reels. Interact with this NPC and you'll be given the option to purchase the Fortnite Anvil Rocket Launcher for 250 bars, instantly adding it to your inventory. Note that if their stock of five weapons is depleted or another player has hired or eliminated Mecha Team Shadow, then you won't be able to use this service so you'll have to keep looking elsewhere or try again in another match.

Once you have a Fortnite Anvil Rocket Launcher in your possession, your primary targets with it should be vehicles as that is what it's designed for. Aim down the sight and point it at a highlighted vehicle to focus on it, and once your targeting level reaches 100% you'll be locked on. Fire the rocket launcher to send a missile up into the sky, which will then track your target as it comes back down to explode on impact, even if they move in the meantime.

Although the Fortnite Anvil Rocket Launcher is primarily designed for use against vehicles, that doesn't prevent you from deploying it against enemies as well. If you aim down the sights then fire a missile, it will launch then drop down from above on the location you targeted. Without a lock on it's hard to hit a moving target with this free aiming, but if you notice an opponent hanging around in one spot then this can be a great weapon to deal big damage or at least flush them out of their hiding place.
