The upcoming title Forge, from brand new studio Dark Vale, promises a blend of MMO-style combat strategy with fast-paced FPS gameplay. We're not entirely sure what that means, but we've got a hunch it's the game every Rogue in WoW PvP will be flocking to this game when it comes out.
The goal actually seems like an admirable one. Esports has been taking off like crazy these days, and MMO PvP is one of the most popular destinations for games like World of Warcraft. Dedicating an entire game to that side of an MMO it's very unique and could win a lot of fans. It could be fun to have an MMO's mechanics created specifically for PvP, rather than having a PvE game be (sort of) adapted into competitive multiplayer.
