Forest Whitaker in talks for Taken 3
Director Olivier Megaton returns for more Neeson-based action
Taken 2 director Olivier Megaton is back for a third instalment, and now the casting is taking shape too.
Whether or not we were ever going to see more kick-ass action from retired CIA agent Bryan Mills always depended on star Liam Neeson, who seemed hesitant at first. Luckily a huge bag of money changed his mind and now plans are well in place for Taken 3 .
Deadline reports that director Olivier Megaton is set to return to the series to helm the project, with a start date for filming that could be as early as March.
Not only that, but Forest Whitaker is in talks to star in the film. He will be joining Neeson and most likely Maggie Grace, who played Neeson’s daughter in the previous two films.
As with Taken and Taken 2 , the third film is to be based on a screenplay written by creator-producer Luc Besson and Robert Mark Kamen.
