Ford gives Indy deadline
Harrison in a hurry to keep up with Jones
At 63 years old, there aren’t many Hollywood actors who have the entire population of Movieland behind them to get back to action films. Despite all the rumblings about Harrison Ford being too old for Indiana Jones 4 - everyone at TF Towers is behind the Tinseltown legend and we’re salivating at the prospect of seeing him crack the whip one last time.
Harrison himself, however is all too aware of time slipping away from the project. With George Lucas committed to creating a staggering amount of Star Wars spin-offs and Steven Spielberg’s calendar full-to-bursting with directing and producing commitments, it’s difficult to see when the old team will finally be able to regroup.
“If it doesn't happen in the next two years we should all forget it,” a defiant Ford says. The Star Wars star goes on to admit that the chances of a new Indy adventure swinging onto our cinema screens is certainly stronger now than ever.
“It's looking very good to do another one and I haven't felt this positive about it happening in a long time.”
Looks like it could all be coming together Indy nick of time! See what we did there? OK, we’ll get our coats…
