Football Manager released for iPhone - and it's good!
CVG has first review of portable Football Manager, loves it
In something of a surprise announcement, Miles Jacobson boss of Sports Interactive, announced an iPhone version of life-consuming football management sim Football Manager today.
The iPhonegame- called FootballManager Handheld 2010-lets you take charge of teams from 34 leagues including England, Scotland, France, Spain, Italy, Germany, Belgium, Holland, Portugal, Brazil and Australia and gives you a roster of some 20,000 players.
The game will be available in the next 48 hours or so (due to the way the iTunes store updates across the world) but in the meantime our friends at CVG have already had a week with the game and posted an extremely positiveFootball Manager Handheld 2010 review:
"Considering the limitations of the hardware, FM Handheld is a gigantic title that offers just as much of a rich, detailed experience to those taking on Notts County or Sporting Lisbon as it does Chelsea or Liverpool," says the review before awarding it a not-to-be-sniffed-at 9/10.
