First WWE 2K17 screens showcase Brock Lesnar, Bella Twins, Usos, and Chris Jericho
2K has dropped the first new screenshots for WWE 2K17 – and added five names to its ever-growing roster in the process.
Brie Bella, Nikki Bella, Chris Jericho, Jimmy Uso and Jey Uso feature in the images, alongside the already announced Brock Lesnar (who’s also this year’s cover star). There’s also a trailer showcasing Lesnar’s ring entrance. It’s not hugely different from last year, but at its outset you can see tables and a dustbin in the audience – suggesting that this year you’ll be able to fight through the crowd.
Going by the trailer Seth Rollins is also definitely in the game. You can clearly see his T-shirt being worn by members of the crowd.
Also confirmed for the roster this week – albeit without screenshots – are Jim Neidhart, R-Truth, The Vaudevillains, Larry Zbyszko, Heath Slater, The Ascension, Brian Pillman, Booker T, Erick Rowan, and Los Matadores. The latter team’s inclusion has caused mild frustration among fans as they switched names (and appearances) to ‘The Shining Stars’ earlier this year.
Other new or returning names we expect to see confirmed over the coming weeks include Asuka, Bayley, the Dudley Boyz, and Alberto Del Rio. Indeed, one enterprising forum poster has, it would seem, already worked out much of the roster.
You can see profiles of all the names announced so far in our WWE 2K17 roster gallery.
WWE 2K17 is released for PS4, PS3, Xbox One and Xbox 360 on 11 October.

I'm GamesRadar's sports editor, and obsessed with NFL, WWE, MLB, AEW, and occasionally things that don't have a three-letter acronym – such as Chvrches, Bill Bryson, and Streets Of Rage 4. (All the Streets Of Rage games, actually.) Even after three decades I still have a soft spot for Euro Boss on the Amstrad CPC 464+.
