First screens, video of Inuyasha's latest joint
Raspy-voiced dog-boy and friends team up once again in Secret of the Divine Jewel
The semi-popular Cartoon Network anime Inuyasha is headed for the Nintendo DS with a new RPG, and we've got the first screens and video for your perusal. When it arrives next year, Inuyasha: Secret of the Divine Jewel will feature an original storyline for the white-haired half-demon and his friends, as well as new characters for them to throw down with.
Of course, the series' core cast - modern-day schoolgirl Kagome, fox-boy Shippo, cursed monk Miroku and demon-hunter Sango - will return to provide backup for Inuyasha and his giant sword. They'll also be central to the game's Cover Fellow System, which promises to "get Inuyasha and his friends to work together in ways never before seen" during battles.
Inuyasha games haven't had a great track record so far, but we're keeping an open mind until we see more. In the meantime, you can check out the new images and movie by hitting the corresponding tabs above.
