First look at Sylvester Stallone in Rocky spinoff Creed
Production on the Rocky spinoff Creed is in full swing, and to commemorate its progress Sylvester Stallone has posted the first image from the set to Instagram. The still features the former boxing champ alongside franchise newbie Michael B. Jordan, in what appears to be a training session. Of course, no Rocky-related movie is complete without one.
The new movie traces the story of Adonis Johnson (Jordan), the son of Rocky’s former opponent Apollo, who heads to Philadelphia to seek out the infamous champion who beat his father. Why? So he can train him to be a fighter like his dad. While Rocky (Stallone) harbors some reservations, he ultimately says yes to the youngster’s plea.
