First look at Rupert Friend in Hitman: Agent 47
New images arrive from Hitman sequel
The first pair of images have surfaced online for Hitman: Agent 47 , Aleksander Bach’s Hitman sequel, starring Rupert Friend as the titular assassin.
Paul Walker had initially been cast to replace Timothy Olyphant, but Homeland star Friend certainly looks the part here, serving up another round of bald-headed badassery.
In terms of plot details, things are still pretty sketchy, although early rumours reported an outline in which Friend’s genetically modified killer is charged with protecting a waitress from a shadowy organisation known as The Syndicate.
That has yet to be confirmed by any official sources, but the new images should give you some idea of the general tone of proceedings. There will be action, and plenty of it…
Directed by Bach and co-starring Zachary Quinto, Ciarán Hinds and Hannah Ware, Hitman: Agent 47 will open in the UK on 20 March 2015.
