The new image shows Sparrow bound by rope and in the custody of a pair of grim-faced seafarers. However, given the frequency with which he seems to get himself in this kind of jam, we’re sure he’ll be free again in no time.
Sparrow’s latest adventure will see him cross paths (and probably cutlasses) with the villainous Captain Salazar (Javier Bardem), who is leading a ghostly crew hell-bent on killing every pirate across the seven seas. Jack’s best chance of survival? Recovering the mythical trident of Poseidon, naturally.
Directed by Espen Sandberg and Joachim Rønning and co-starring Kaya Scodelario, Brenton Thwaites and Geoffrey Rush, Pirates Of The Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales will open in the UK and US on 7 July 2017.
