First image arrives from Veronica Mars movie
Production is up and running
After years of rumours, numerous false dawns and a hugely succesful Kickstarter campaign, production is finally up and running on the Veronica Mars movie, with a first on-set image emerging online.
The content of the new image isn't much to write home about, with Kristen Bell simply chatting with director Rob Thomas, but just to see physical proof that the new film is actually in production is marvel enough in itself!
Having crowd-sourced funds from the aforementioned Kickstarter campaign, Thomas has been able to reunite nearly all of the original cast, with the new film to take place nine years after the show left off.
The plot will see Veronica return to her home town having graduated from law school, only for her ex-boyfriend Logan to enlist her help in solving the murder of his new girlfriend.
Co-starring Bell, Jason Dohring, Tina Majorino and Francis Capra, Veronica Mars is expected to arrive in 2014, proving that online fandom can make big things happen...
