The first trailer for the PlayStation Vita's Disgaea 3 Return has recently surfaced on Nippon Ichi'steaser site. The full site will go live on the August 18, but we already know two things: the game's name is Disgaea 3 Return and that the trailer follows in the grand tradition of Disgaea trailers in that it's way too confusing for us to tell what's going on (and we already played originalPS3 version). Fortunately, the cinematic stampede of large Japanese text, bright flashes, and quick cuts to atmospheric vantage points also comes with a few straightforward announcements.
The remake of Disgaea 3 will add 20 additional characters, over 40 additional music tracks, and will include Trophy support. Some of the trophies may remain inaccessible forever, since as far as we know, no one has ever truly finished a Disgaea game, and adding more content is clearly just showing off. But we like that Nippon Ichi is doing it anyway.
