First clip from Jurassic World packs in the laughs: watch now
In two months, the Jurassic World gates will open and moviegoers will be granted their first trip back to Isla Nublar in over twenty years. To whet your appetite before all hell breaks loose, the first clip from the dino sequel has hit the web via MTV News. A brief 90-second teaser, it focuses on the relationship between Bryce Dallas Howard’s scientist Claire and her subordinate - Chris Pratt’s Raptor wrangler Owen. Check it out below:
There’s no new dinosaurs to spot here but who needs genetically-engineered prehistoric beasts when you’ve got Chris Pratt busting out some Star Lord-inspired quips? As he flaunts his veritable beast-taming skills with braggadocio, Howard’s stern scientist serves to counter Owen’s lofty claims. In case you hadn’t already figured it out; she’s the level-headed one, he’s the gung-ho chappie who rallies Raptors for hunting expeditions.
Directed by Colin Trevorrow and co-starring Vincent D’Onofrio, Judy Greer, Irfan Khan, Nick Robinson, Ty Simpkins, and BD Wong, Jurassic World opens on June 12.
