Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice trailer to arrive this week

If the rumors are true, fans will be able to see the first footage from next year’s Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice tomorrow morning. Earlier reports implied that our first glimpse at Zack Snyder’s eagerly-awaited superhero team-up would be attached to another major Warner Bros. release, Mad Max: Fury Road. Now it appears as if we’ll be seeing it a lot sooner, according to the folks at Latino Review and Collider.

Both outlets confirm that Snyder will drop a five-second tease via Twitter at 9am (PST) on Thursday April 16, which is expected to include a sign-up link allowing fans to register for a special theatrical screening of the full trailer on Monday April 20. It’s still unconfirmed if these events will roll out in just the US or if they will be made available to a worldwide audience.

For those unable to catch those previews, the full trailer will then be attached to theatrical screenings of Avengers: Age Of Ultron which arrives in the UK on April 23 and the US on May 1. To further back this up, the British Board Of Film Classification (BBFC) has now officially stamped the trailer with a 12A certificate on its website. The teaser has a listed running time of two minutes and six seconds, which offers plenty of time to see Supes and Bruce go tet-a-tet.

Starring Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck and Gal Gadot, Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice opens in theaters on March 25, 2016.
