Yoshida has been hammering away the same message for months after PC users of the game have complained with glitches and an unenjoyable player experience, and PS3 owners are still waiting to get their hands on it.
In the newsletter, he outlined four steps to recovery:
1) Fun
2) Live
3) Reboot
4) Rebuild
Instead of chaos and disarray, Yoshida said the environment around the FFXIV is one of "anticipation and excitement" as everyone works round the clock to turn the user experience into something players will actually like.
Of course, as with all bold stump speeches, words only mean so much. We'll be watching to see what Yoshida and his team actually do to live up to these promises.
