Jobs, Disciples of Magic
White Mage
To become a White Mage, you must level your character to Conjurer Level 30 and Arcanist Level 15 and complete the Seer Folly quest for E-Sumi-Yan in Old Gridania. White Mages have the ability to keep the party fully stocked on health and fully buffed with just a few spells. They can also unlock the highly damaging Holy spell.
Black Mage
To become a Black Mage, you must level your character to Conjurer Level 30 and Archer Level 15 and complete the Taking the Black quest for the Thaumaturge's Guild. Black Mages deliver the most devastating spells in the game, with attacks of fire and ice. They can even buff the party against other magic.
Summoner
To become a Summoner, you must level your character to Arcanist Level 30 and Thaumaturge Level 15 and complete the Austerities of Flame quest for the Arcanist's Guild. Summoners are fantastic magical fighters, as they possess of huge list of nature-based attack spells.
Scholar
To become a Scholar, you must level your character to Arcanist Level 30 and Conjurer Level 15 and complete the Forgotten but Not Gone quest for the Arcanist's Guild. Scholars are the best supporters in the game, with a wide range of abilities that buff and heal party members while damaging and hindering enemies.
