Famous movie locations spotted in GTA IV
We put images from the silver screen up against Liberty City's digital recreations
The Film: Sergio Leone’s Once Upon a Time in America depicts the lives of a group of Jewish boys who, much like Niko in GTA IV, climb the ladder of organised crime in NYC.
Real-life location: Manhattan Bridge, Water Street at Washington Street, Brooklyn.
This was Jennifer Connelly’s (who played young Deborah) first film role. She’s since gone on to star in Requiem for a Dream, A Beautiful Mind and Blood Diamond with Leonardo Di Caprio.
The Film: Surely everyone knows the story of Spidey.
Real-life location: New York Public Library, Fifth Avenue.
A number of other stars including Mena Suvari, Eliza Dushku and Elisha Cuthbert auditioned for the role of Mary Jane, which eventually went to Kirsten Dunst.
