Bethesda has released Fallout: New Vegas patchthat's so huge, the publisher didn't bother to provide a list of includedfixes and changes. That's because a "full changelist" would have been a novel - according to Senior Producer Jason Bergman, the patch fixesmore than 200 errors.
Since New Vegas launched, forums around the webhave been lighting up with complaints aboutglitches. The bugs have ranged from minor typos in the text dialogue to game-freezing errors. The PC version was updatedabout a week ago, but now the same patch has made its way to the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions.
In a recent interview, New Vegas senior designer Chris Avellone said, "I think when you create a game as large as Fallout 3 or New Vegas you are going to run into issues that even a testing team of 300 won't spot, so we're just trying to address those as quickly as possible and so is Bethesda."
Indeed, Bethesda had to release a pretty large bug fix soon after Fallout 3 came out at the end of 2008. That patch only cleaned up a couple dozen reported errors, though. When it comes to bugs, "over 200" is quite a lot.
Just for fun, here's a look at a bug that showed up during the game intro, or as the YouTube user who posted the video writes, "THE FIRST THING THAT HAPPENS IS BROKEN."
