A batch of new images have arrived online from Mad Max: Fury Road , starring Tom Hardy looking all heroic as the titular badass.
As well as giving us another look at Hardy in action, the new images also introduce Nicholas Hoult's character Nux, a shaven-headed, white-faced horror who looks barely recognisable from good old Hank McCoy.
There's also a glimpse of Charlize Theron's steely Furiosa, as well as a great shot of some of the assembled desert vehicles tearing across the sandy landscape.
The new film has certainly taken its sweet time in coming to fruition, but this new imagery is genuinely striking, and hopefully evidence that the finished article will have been worth the wait.
Directed by George Miller and co-starring Zoë Kravitz, Riley Keough and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Mad Max: Fury Road will open in the UK on 15 May 2015.
