Exclusive Willow clip from the 25th anniversary DVD/Blu-ray

Hard as it is to believe, Willow is now 25 years old.

Yep, the Ron Howard-directed fantasy adventure is getting a special anniversary re-release on Blu-ray and DVD, and we’ve got an exclusive clip featuring the film’s stars.

Val Kilmer and Warwick Davis are back together for the video, in which they talk us through the Blu-ray’s special features in their own inimitable style.

It’s a delightfully oddball little clip, celebrating the star’s idiosyncrasies for a back-and-forth that feels refreshingly unscripted.

A must-watch for Davis’ comments on Peter Jackson’s The Lord Of The Rings , you can check out the video right here:

Produced by George Lucas, Willow effectively transplanted the tried-and-tested Star Wars formula to the realm of fantasy. Davis stars as the title character, and he teams up with Kilmer’s mercenary on mission to save an abandoned baby (who just happens to be the kingdom’s princess).

Willow is released on Blu-ray and DVD on 11 March 2013.
