We've managed to get our hands on an exclusive new clip from Slow West to bring you this morning, in which Michael Fassbender and Kodi Smit-McPhee find themselves in the middle of a standoff…
The new film follows Smit-McPhee as he embarks upon a cross-country journey through 1800s Colorado in search of his lost love. However, as this clip so aptly demonstrates, the west remains resolutely wild and the young adventurer soon finds himself in need of protection from Fassbender's gun-slinging outlaw.

Fassbender is clearly not a man to be trifled with. And although he might seem like a combustible traveling companion, with Ben Mendelsohn's villain on the prowl that itchy trigger finger will likely come in handy. Directed by John Maclean and co-starring Caren Pistorius, Slow West will open in the UK on 26 June 2015.
