Evie takes on Jack The Ripper next week in Assassin's Creed Syndicate's DLC
The trophies for Assassin's Creed Syndicate's Jack The Ripper DLC landed last week and now we only have to wait until Tuesday to take on the Ripper himself. Taking place more than 20 years after the events of Syndicate, Evie is now in her forties and has returned to London after time away and agrees to aid Inspector Abberline in his mission to take down the grisly killer.
"His story is filled with blanks and rumours, which gave us the opportunity to create a fictional story around the infamous Whitechapel serial killer, inspired by what little is known about him," says lead mission designer Benjamin Dumaz on the EU PlayStation Blog. "We are introducing a whole new gameplay system for Jack the Ripper. With the fear system, you will scare away your opponents or use friendly fire to your advantage." This sounds rather intriguing.
The above trailer is suitably threatening as our favourite Assassin takes on the hideous sack-mask-wearing villain. I'll eat my top hat if this doesn't end with Ms Frye disposing of him to make sure he's never heard from again. Unsolved, you say? I wonder why...
The Jack The Ripper DLC is available as part of the Syndicate season pass for $29.99(£24.99) or separately for $14.99(UK price unconfirmed). It will be out on PS4, Xbox One and PC on December 15th.
