Wing man
You can pop down and grab yourself a vehicle, and from what weve played driving feels solid, but when you can fly with the wingsuit theres little reason to, at least when covering shorter distances. Its different from the one found in Far Cry, mainly as its a much more active affair. Youll need to dip and swerve to keep up momentum.
Just 'chute me
Avalanches aim is to ensure that while youre strappedinto the parachute you can do anything that you could do on the ground. Its initially quite a strange concept to get your head around, but within minutes we found ourselves switching between this and the wingsuit almost exclusively when moving about.
Supporting arsenal
Rico now has room for up to three weapons at once. Theres a slot for a primary and secondary weapon and a more explosive Special, such as a rocket launcher, to back them up. The big cause for celebration, however, is Ricos inexplicably infinite supply of C4. Now we can get straight to planning our next demolition job.
Let the hooky win
We cant wait to see what the community makes of the new multi-tether grappling hook, as the number of scenarios that can unfold with its retracting mechanic is dizzying. Case in point: Avalanche actually ensured that the heads of statues will remain intact. It turns out players love using them with a helicopter as a wrecking ball.
