Warner Bros. has delayed the Wii U and physical PC versions of Batman Arkham Origins, as well as the 3DS version of Batman Arkham Origins Blackgate, by two weeks in Europe.
In a statement issued to Eurogamer, the publisher confirmed that the Xbox 360, PS3 and digital PC editions of Arkham Origins will launch as scheduled on October 25, as will the Vita version of Blackgate. The delayed versions of the games will now hit European stores on November 8. All versions will launch in North America on October 25 as planned.
Arkham Origins for consoles is a prequel developed by Warner Bros. Games Montreal rather than series creator Rocksteady Studios. Blackgate is being handled by Armature Studio, the team of ex-Metroid Prime developers also behind the Vita port of Metal Gear Solid HD Collection and the upcoming handheld version of Injustice Gods Among Us.
