House of the Dragon season 2 has come to a fiery end, but it's not too late to catch up on the latest installment of the Game of Thrones prequel.

There's been no shortage of big shocks in the latest batch of episodes, with some key characters biting the dust in grisly ways (thanks, Blood and Cheese and Rook's Rest) and some pretty epic dragon battles taking the skies of Westeros by storm. The stakes have never been higher in the war of Greens vs. Blacks, especially with the dragonseeds now in play. 

We've got a while to wait until House of the Dragon season 3 arrives on our screens, but that means there's plenty of time to rewatch the second season – or play catch up if you haven't gotten around to hitting play just yet. In the US, House of the Dragon season 2 is only available with a subscription to Max, which is HBO's streaming service.

In the UK, you'll need a membership to NOW TV, which is Sky Atlantic's official streaming platform.
