When is Gladiator 2 out on streaming?
Your guide to watching Gladiator 2 at home
Gladiator 2 is now available to watch on streaming for those who missed it in theaters last November, and those who simply want to enjoy the impressive Colosseum fights also at home.
The long-awaited follow-up to Ridley Scott's Roman epic Gladiator, which was released 25 years ago, sees Paul Mescal playing Lucius as he steps into the arena to fight for his life, and the dream that was once Rome. Wait, this sounds familiar! This sequel is definitely playing some similar keys to its predecessor, with some nostalgic scenes remembering Russell Crowe's Maximus.
However, except Connie Nielsen, who is reprising her role as Lucilla, the new Gladiator has a brand-new cast which includes Denzel Washington, Pedro Pascal, Joseph Quinn, and Fred Hechinger.
If you want see Paul Mescal facing off against baboons, sharks, and more at home, you can do it now. Here's everything you need to know about Gladiator 2 streaming release date.
Gladiator 2 streaming release date
Gladiator 2 is now available to stream on Paramount Plus in the US.
The sequel was released on streaming on January 21, 2025, two months after its cinema release. This is consistent with Paramount's latest releases like A Quiet Place: Day One, which was released in theaters on June 28 and started streaming on August 27 — a gap of 60 days.
Other titles, like Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem, took just 48 days to arrive on streaming, but Gladiator 2 had some bigger legs at the multiplex.
