Elizabeth Olsen reveals more Scarlet Witch tidbits
Refers to her specific powers
Elizabeth Olsen can expect plenty of The Avengers: Age Of Ultron questions over the coming weeks and months, and has been only too happy to discuss her character Scarlet Witch in increasing levels of detail…
While there have been question marks over just what powers Scarlet Witch will have in the new film (there are legal issues as to which specific version of the character falls under the banner of Marvel or Fox), Olsen has hinted at what she might be able to do…
“She's nuts, she's crazy,” says Olsen of her character. “She has more things wrong with her than any character I've ever played,”
“She can tell you where an object has been, she can tell you what your future is, she can connect with the dead and people from other universes, and she's the only person in this universe who's capable of doing that.”
This may of course be knowledge Olsen has picked up in her background reading, but Joss Whedon has presumably been steering her towards the comics that are more relevant to this incarnation of the character…
In any case, we’d imagine Kevin Feige will be keeping a close eye on just how much Olsen reveals in her interviews… The Avengers: Age Of Ultron will open on 1 May 2015.
