The Elder Scrolls Online PS4, Xbox One versions delayed to 2015
The Elder Scrolls Online will be a little bit more elderly before it releases on PS4 and Xbox One - Bethesda says the MMORPG's already-delayed console version will release sometime in 2015. You may recall that TESO's console versions were originally planned to launch in June 2014, two months after it hit PC.
When that date drew near, Bethesda said it needed about six more months to get the game working properly on PSN and Xbox Live. Now that those six months have come and almost gone, Bethesda says it wants to bulk up the game with far-reaching Justice and Champion systems before it ships ESO on consoles; the former will finally let you rob NPCs blind and get chased out of town by guards (as is the grand old Elder Scrolls tradition), and the latter will expand end-game progression.
Elder Scrolls Online had a rocky launch on PC and lukewarm reviews to match, so it's good to see Bethesda taking its time to polish the console versions. But these continual delays are a bit worrisome by themselves, and it remains to be seen if the game will be able to conjure up enough excitement with console owners at release.

I got a BA in journalism from Central Michigan University - though the best education I received there was from CM Life, its student-run newspaper. Long before that, I started pursuing my degree in video games by bugging my older brother to let me play Zelda on the Super Nintendo. I've previously been a news intern for GameSpot, a news writer for CVG, and now I'm a staff writer here at GamesRadar.
