Edge iPad Edition is out now - half price and fully revolutionary
First fully interactive issue of gaming's most respected magazine
Edge, the UK's most respected videogame magazine, is relaunching on Apple's NewsStand with a fully interactive (and rather beautiful) iPad Edition. Better still, this first issue in the revolutionary new format is on offer at half the normal price at just £1.99 / $2.99 / €2.49 until July 18.
You may have tried the free iPad Sampler Edition a few weeks back, but this is the real deal. The new iPad edition features interactive elements in addition to bespoke full-screen videos, screenshot/art galleries and hidden bonus elements, delivering much more content than is possible in the standard print edition. Pages are animated, audio features are included and the custom navigation tool makes it easy to navigate around using the Apple tablet's touch-screen interface.
Above: Reborn could apply to Halo and Edge. And Pikmin, come to think of it
This first new iPad Edition includes:
- Frank O'Connor and Phil Harrison on how they're aiming to prepare Halo 4 for legendary status
- Peter Molyneux on the psychological games at the heart of his new venture, 22Cans
- The games of E3 2012
- The making of Super Mario 3D Land
- Reviews of Lollipop Chainsaw, Steel Battalion: Heavy Armor, Spec Ops: The Line and Virtua Fighter 5 Final Showdown
To sweeten the deal still further, iOS game Tiny Invaders will be free for a limited time - follow the link within the issue to claim your free copy.
This is the future of specialist gaming magazines. Download the first issue today for the special launch price of just £1.99 / $2.99 / €2.49.
